Pupils and Learning

Shiplake CE Primary School curriculum consists of: the National Curriculum core and foundation subjects, which are taught through a relevant, contextual and inspiring creative curriculum.  Pupils are offered the opportunity to take lessons in the playing of piano, various wind instruments and drums.  Each class organises off-site visits to ensure first hand learning experiences as well as a programme of extra-curricular activities that includes creative and physical opportunities.

PTFA

Our PTFA is the charitable entity within Shiplake CE Primary School. It is a group of people who volunteer their time and energy to make a significant contribution to the School around two broad aims – to raise money for the school and to encourage and facilitate the School Community through social interaction and communication between all Stakeholders and the local community.

Staff

Church Links

The school has strong links with our local church – St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church, Shiplake. We have regular visits from our Rector in school and they support in classes and leads our Collective Worship once a week.
